Senior Airman David Nuñez and Tech. Sgt. Fred Williams synchronize a newly installed Bac-12 aircraft arresting system at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Dec. 5. The system must be synchronized every three months after it is put into operation. Nuñez is an Andrews, Texas, native deployed to the 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron from Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. Williams is deployed to the 332nd ECES from Kadena Air Base, Japan, and is a native of Sandusky, Ohio.
