Sergeant 1st Class Freddy Mendoza, a platoon sergeant with Charlie Battery, 3rd Battalion of the 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division overlooks as his soldiers emplace the M-119 lightweight 105mm howitzer during a competition for the title of Top Gun held at Fort Bragg, N.C., May 7, 2014. The soldiers integrated into training with Marines from 10th Marine Regiment, in order to showcase their abilities on the weapons systems and to compare differences in execution of emplacement and communications.
