Boy Scout Etienne Salle tries on a ghillie suit with assistance from Cpl. Donnie Yuson, an assistant team leader with Scout Sniper Team, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, during the 2014 Boy Scouts Aloha Council Makahiki event at Ala Moana Beach Park, May 10, 2014. More than 3,000 Boy Scouts from troops statewide and their families came to the park for a full day of activities, competitions, games and static displays. The general public was also invited to the event. Marines from Marine Corps Base Hawaii, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, the Provost Marshal’s Office, 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment and SOI West - Detachment Hawaii brought static displays and military vehicles for families to explore.
