Staff Sgt. Monwell Chassion pressure washes mud off his boots after washing a sweeper at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Dec. 5. Sweepers pick up foreign object debris, which can include stones, mud and dirt on runways and taxiways. Monwell, a 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician, is deployed from Hurlburt Field, Fla. His hometown is New Orleans.
