Bridge watch standers aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Bunker Hill (CG 52) observe their approach toward the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) during a replenishment at sea. Bunker Hill, along with Carl Vinson, is participating in Southern Seas 2010, a U.S. Southern Command-directed operation that provides U.S. and other forces the opportunity to operate in a multi-national environment designed to enhance partnerships, improve operational readiness, and enhance maritime security.
