Spc. Robert Davis, a Mebane, N. C. native, and a fuel and petroleum specialist, stationed out of Fort Hood, Texas, with the 62nd Quartermaster Company, 398th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, is ensuring the 463L Air Force pallet is properly loaded and secured completely on the bed of a palletized loading system, or PLS. Davis is currently deployed in Iraq and accepts the responsibilities and role as a motor transport operator. When asked what his thoughts were on his deployment, he replied, "It's a good learning experience, but I can't wait to go home." Davis is currently serving a 15-month tour of duty in support of Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
