Col. Joseph Martin, commander, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, greets a sheik from the Hurriyah neighborhood of northwest Baghdad, Dec. 3 outside the Al-Farooq Mosque. Following a meeting of sheiks from the Hurriyah and Tarmiyah neighborhoods, the sheiks surveyed the area to get a first-hand look at the improved security conditions in the Hurriyah area.
