Line handlers standby as the Austin-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Denver returns to Fleet Activities Sasebo following a three-month fall patrol in the Asian-Pacific region.Denver is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, which serves under Task Force 76, the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed amphibious force commander. The ship completed its first deployment as part of the U.S. Seventh Fleet Forward Deployed Naval Forces.
