U.S. Navy Petty Officer Christopher Marsh checks a local resident’s blood pressure May 8 during a cooperative health engagement in Guinobatan, Albay province, Philippines. The cooperative health engagement was conducted by members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. service members to provide medical attention to both the local residents and animals as a part of Exercise Balikatan. This year marks the 30th iteration of the exercise, which is an annual bilateral training exercise and humanitarian civic assistance engagement designed to strengthen the partnership between the two allied nations. Marsh is a hospital corpsman with 1st Marine Division. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Trever Statz/Released)
