During a simulated riot control event dubbed Operation Silver Bayonet, multinational soldiers with NATO’s Kosovo Force move quickly to establish “terrain-based dominance” to disperse a crowd, May 7. Soldiers with the 2nd Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment, 504th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, served as the riot response force, and will participate in the theater-wide riot control event hosted by Kosovo Force later this month.
