Natalya Sadykova, the first grade teacher at Vasilievika School in Vinogradnoye Village, Kyrgyzstan, reads a letter to her class written by a first grade student from St. John's Lutheran School in Oxnard, Calif. As part of a class project, the California grade schoolers mailed coloring books, supplies and a personal letter - in Russian - to Kyrgyzstan. Airmen from nearby Manas Air Base, which has supported the school for nearly seven years, delivered the well-received gifts, Nov. 21, during one of their frequent visits to the school.
