First grade students from Vasilievika School in Vinogradnoye Village, Kyrgyzstan, are all smiles, Nov. 21, as Manas Air Base Airmen hand out school supplies and coloring books from the first grade class at St. John's Lutheran School in Oxnard, Calif. As part of a class project, the California grade schoolers mailed coloring books, supplies and a personal letter - in Russian - to Kyrgyzstan. Manas AB has supported the school for nearly seven years by frequently conducting improvement projects and delivering supplies.
