Philippine Air Force Staff Sgt. Joselito Huarde, right, and U.S Air Force Senior Airmen James McCullough work together to repair a roof May 3 at Tamaoyan Elementary School in Legazpi City, Albay province, Philippines. The work being done at Tamaoyan is one of five engineering civic action program missions being completed by members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. armed forces as a part of Balikatan. This year marks the 30th iteration of the exercise, which is an annual bilateral training exercise and humanitarian civic assistance engagement that strengthens the partnership between the two allied nations.
