Guyana government officials and Continuing Promise team members embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge cut a ribbon at the official opening of the West Demerara Regional Hospital Canteen. Kearsarge is supporting the Caribbean phase of CP, an equal partnership mission between the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Brazil, Nicaragua, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana.
