Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, send rounds down range at Kangaroo Flats Training Area during a live-fire range, May 6, 2014. Marines used an Australian course of fire conducting static and kinetic firing drills to strengthen unit cohesion and basic marksman skills. The range utilized fire-team sized elements, which will build to bilateral battalion-sized operations later in the rotation.
