The guided missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) fires its Mark 15 Phalanx close-in weapons system in the Atlantic Ocean Feb. 19, 2014. The Truxtun was deployed to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility as part of the George H.W. Bush Carrier Strike Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
