Karl Ludwig, deployed communications engineer, Joint Task Force Civil Support, explains the capabilities of an emergency response vehicle to local mayors and city representatives during a visit here May 1, 2014. The purpose of the visit was to inform local city officials of JTF-CS capabilities during a natural or man-made disaster. The visit included an information brief and a tour of JTF-CS headquarters building and demonstrations of response equipment. JTF-CS anticipates, plans and prepares for chemical biological, radiological and nuclear Defense Support to Civil Authorities response operations.
