Navy Cmdr. Catherine L. Cummings, a detachment commander from 2nd Dental Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, performs dental work on a Marine, Nov. 5. The dental procedure occurred during a field exercise that took place from Nov. 3-6. The exercise allowed 2nd Dental Battalion and Marine Forces Systems Command to field test the new ASI Medical Inc. Model 2025 M Triton Self-Contained Dental System. The system consolidates all the major dental tools found on a regular dentist chair into a small portable unit.
