Spanish Minister of Defense Carme Chacon Piqueras speaks with members of the Spanish army at Camp Arena in western Afghanistan, Nov. 10. Piqueras came to Camp Arena in order to bring home the remains of two Spanish army soldiers killed in action during a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device attack near Shindand in western Afghanistan and to visit the other soldiers injured during the attack. The soldiers were performing an ISAF mission at the time of their death, Nov. 10.
