Cpl. Jackie McKnight, a broadcast journalist assigned to the 13th Public Affairs Detachment, plays the role of a father whose 16-year-old daughter was raped, during a quarterly SHARP training class April 24 at the Oveta Culp Hobby Soldier and Family Readiness Center on post. McKnight describes the whole process as eye opening. “It is not as easy as calling 911, it is a long process and I see now why some people might not report it,” McKnight said. The intent of the class is to familiarize Soldiers with the whole process of SHARP.
