Al Firdous Mosque, located in the Ameriyah neighborhood of western Baghdad, was the site chosen for a humanitarian aid drop carried out by Soldiers of 4th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, attached to 2nd BCT, 101st Airborne Div., Multi-National Division - Baghdad, and local Iraqi policemen on Nov. 13. The boxes contained such items as oil for cooking, rice and laundry detergent were left at the mosque to be handed out by a local shaykh to needy families in the area.
