Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Elizabeth Bernal, from Tampa, Fla., directs an Air Force HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter during deck landing qualifications on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44). Gunston Hall is part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, and with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (22nd MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
