Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Travis Wilson, from Rio Vista, Calif., signals to an AgustaWestland AW-139 helicopter, assigned to the United Arab Emirates Air Force, to take off from the flight deck of the guided-missile destroyer USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51). This marks the first time the UAEAF lands this type of aircraft aboard a U.S. Navy warship. Arleigh Burke is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
