Reaching back to vibrate the concrete, a U.S. Airman probes the concrete to keep it packed by taking out air pockets. Every Airman on this team has a job to do. While one Airman guides the concrete tube, another uses a shovel to spread, and another waits to vibrate the concrete. U.S. Airmen from the 557th RED HORSE Squadron (Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operations Repair Squadron Engineer) are pouring 57 cubic meters of concrete on Forward Operating Base Warrior, Iraq, Nov. 1, 2008. Fifty Airmen make up this team that will travel in Iraq completing various construction projects.
