Marines with 1st Marine Headquarters Group conduct a regimental hike aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., April 17, 2014. The Marines wore their flak jackets and carried weighted assault packs on the eight-mile conditioning hike. This hike was the second of a series in a series of conditioning events that aim to improve the Marines' operational readiness and camaraderie.
