Lt. j.g. Brian Gauthier, a member of the bridge team aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Mahan (DDG 72), reviews data to determine optimal course and speed during counter-piracy operations. Mahan is part of Combined Task Force (CTF) 151, a multinational task force conducting counter-piracy operations in and around the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Red Sea.
