Republic of Korea Marines rush Hwajinri beach during an amphibious landing exercise for Korean Incremental Training Program '09. The amphibious landing was conducted to improve interoperability of R.O.K and U.S. forces during ship to shore operations. KITP '09 is an annual bilateral exercise conducted to maintain readiness and sustain the long-term security assistance relationship between the R.O.K. - U.S. forces.
