An amphibious assault vehicle from Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, III Marine Expeditionary Force, assaults Hwajinri beach during a bilateral amphibious landing exercise conducted as a part of Korean Incremental Training Program '09. KITP '09 is an annual bilateral training exercise conducted by both the R.O.K. and U.S. forces.
