Iraqi police from the Jisr Diyala local police station took control of multiple weapons stored in a cache in field near their police station on Nov. 3, 2008. A tip from a local resident near Jisr Diyala observed suspicious people burying items in a nearby field and notified the local Iraqi police. IP inventory the six 60mm mortars and various amounts of belt fed ammunition, prior to handing over to IP investigators.
