During a routine security patrol in the town of Rutbah, Iraq, Oct. 23, 2008, Cpl. Joseph Shutta, an infantryman with Weapons Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, gives stuffed animals to children outside their family home. The stuffed animals were sent to the Marines at the expense of patriotic organizations in the United States under the umbrella of America Supports You, a Department of Defense organization created several years ago to consolidate grass-roots 501(c) non-profit organizations wishing to support the troops in the Global War on Terror.
