Boxes of school supplies sent by Marines' friends, family and organizations in the U.S. were distributed to students and teachers by the Iraqi army at an elementary school in Khasfah, Iraq, Oct. 21, 2008. Since security of al-Anbar province has been given back to the Iraqi government, the IA has started playing a bigger role in operations as the Marines with the Baghdadi Military in Transition Team, which is assigned 3rd Battalion, 2nd Iraqi Brigade, 7th Iraqi Division, have stepped back and supervised.
