Leaders from units of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) conduct a tactical exercise without troops at Landing Zone Bastogne here April 2, 2014, in preparation for Air Assault operations during Operation Golden Eagle. The four-day exercise was the first brigade-size air assault operation conducted by the 101st Abn. Div. in more than a decade and featured Soldiers from 3rd Brigade Combat Team "Rakkasans" and 101st Combat Aviation Brigade "Wings of Destiny," moving more than 1,100 Soldiers and sling-loading more than 20 pieces of equipment.
