Canadian Army Private Chad Mazurek of Branford, Ontario performs a check of a 50 caliber machine gun during routine maintenance. Mazurek is a member of the International Security Assistance Force Canadian Operational Mentor Liaison Team responsible for training Afghan national army soldiers. ISAF is assisting the Afghan government in extending and exercising its authority and influence across the country, creating the conditions for stabilization and reconstruction.
