The underway replenishment team, in UNREP station 5 a sliding padeye, gives the final hand signals to receive a pallet of cargo being transfered to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan from the fast combat support ship USNS Bridge. During UNREPs, Ronald Reagan can receive pallets by two means one being the four sliding padeyes in hangar bay two and three and the other from vertical replenishments performed by attached squadrons. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
