Petty Officer 3rd Class Jacob Butler uses a Dyno-meter to gauge the launch power during a catapult no-load evolution on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Catapult no-loads are perform on all catapults prior to their use for a day of flight operations. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
