Capt. K.J. Norton, commanding officer of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan speaks during a mass reenlistment ceremony held on the flight deck of the Ronald Reagan. One hundred and seventeen Sailors reenlisted during the ceremony, in which the total amount of selective reenlistment bonuses received by the Sailors came out to $2.4 million. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
