"We take our jobs very seriously by maintaining communication at all times and keeping our launchers at ready status," said Spc. Chris Guziczek, a "launcher dog" serving in the Middle East with Charlie Battery, 2nd Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery from Fort Bliss, Texas. A native of West Chester, N.Y., Guziczek and his team members perform daily preventive maintenance to their trucks, generators and Patriot PAC-3 missiles. Patriot batteries serve as the last line of defense from enemy missiles to protect American troops, assets and their allies.
