Army Staff Sgt. Derrick Sterling, 894th Quartermaster Company convoy patrolman, and Master Sgt. Peter Winetroub, 407th Air Expeditionary Group anti-terrorism officer, place an injured victim on a litter Oct. 9, 2008. Army and Air Force members attended a combat lifesaver course, for the final exam each class team ran through a scenario putting the skills they learned to the test. Sterling is deployed from 894th QM Co., a reserve unit based in Jackson Miss. Winetroub is deployed from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.
