Sailors, assigned to the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), observe a chief petty officer history exhibit in commemoration of the 121st birthday of the CPO in the chief’s mess. Bonhomme Richard is assigned to Expeditionary Strike Group Seven and is participating in Exercise Ssang Yong, an annual combined exercise conducted by Navy and Marine forces with the Republic of Korea in order to strengthen interoperability across the range of military operations.
