Staff Sgt. Joel Osmont, an infantry platoon leader from Rapid River, Mich., assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, uses bolt cutters to break up a nest of concertina wire, Oct. 5, 2008, while clearing a nest of razor wire from the Fourat Iraqi police academy in southern Baghdad's West Rashid District. Soldiers of Co. C and the 1st Bn., 22nd Inf. continue to remove the C-Wire as part of ongoing efforts to return a sense of normalcy to the residents of Rashid as security and stability continue to improve throughout Baghdad.
