Iraqi police officers assigned to the Fourat Iraqi police academy joined Soldiers of Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division -- Baghdad, to collect concertina wire, Oct. 5, 2008, for disposal. The IPs cut the wire into smaller segments and pulled it over to where the Soldiers of the "Regulars" Bn. crimped and folded the wire and loaded it into a trailer to be moved to a collection point for eventual disposal. The Soldiers of Co. C have spent several nights per week during the month of September and into October collecting the C-Wire for disposal to better the quality of life for Iraqi residents as security continues to improve in southern Baghdad's Rashid District.
