Staff Sgt. Joel Olson, an infantry platoon sergeant from Rapid River, Mich., cuts concertina wire, while his platoon leader, 1st Lt. Jonathan Muir, a native of Pittsburgh, helps untangle the multiple strands nested in a field near the Fourat Iraqi police academy in the West Rashid District of southern Baghdad, Oct. 5, 2008. Both Soldiers, assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, have worked with their Soldiers during the past three weeks to remove the C-Wire that lines the streets and fields where Iraqis live and work. The Soldiers cut and load the strands of C-Wire, carrying it to a collection point for disposal.
