The first annual All Army Combatives Competition was held Nov. 4 - 6 at Fort Benning, Ga.. The United States Combative Arts Association, formed in 2002, coordinates the efforts of teachers and students of the Modern Army Combatives program being pioneered at the U.S. Army Combatives School at Fort Benning. The USCAA promotes training methods and techniques that build real combative ability. The MAC program is official Army doctrine since the publishing of FM3-25.150, written by retired Sergeant 1st Class Matt Larsen, Director, MAC.
