A Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat team assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan races out to sea during a training evolution. RHIB teams are the secondary response for man-overboard drills when a helicopter is not able to get close enough to the person during a rescue. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
