Soldiers participating in combatives teams from the 2nd Infantry Division stood at attention for the national anthem at the 2nd Infantry Division Combatives Tournament March 7, 2014 at Hovey Gym in Dongducheon, South Korea. After six weeks of grueling training with a mixture of CrossFit, weightlifting and extreme combatives training the team finally gets to put their training to the test against other soldiers across the peninsula with hopes of making it to and representing the 2nd Infantry Division in the upcoming Eighth Army Combatives Tournament in April. The event is an individual competition that demonstrates the 2nd Infantry Division readiness to deter aggression toward the Republic of Korea.
