Marines, sailors and soldiers travel in a parade float throwing beads and other trinkets to the crowd during the Krewe of Zeus parade in Metairie, La., March 3, 2014. Founded in 1957, the Krewe of Zeus is the oldest parading organization in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans.
