Tech. Sgt. Neil Cook, 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 34th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, works on a control valve located high above his head, Sept. 19, 2008. The working area is very tight making it difficult to keep two wrenches on the valve, when changing the wing sweep gear sub-assembly on the B-1 Lancer at this undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. The B-1 is the backbone of America's long-range bomber force. It can rapidly deliver massive quantities of precision and non-precision weapons against any adversary, anywhere in the world, at any time. Sgt. Cook is a native of Rapid City, S.D. and deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S. D., in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
