A U.S. Navy sailor watches as the U.S. Navy USS Michael Murphy, a guided missile destroyer, sails into port transferring 19 civilian dependents from Her Majesty’s Canada Ship Protecteur, a Royal Canadian Navy auxiliary oil replenishing ship, March 4, 2014, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The 19 civilian dependents were rescued by crew members of the USS Chosin and USS Michael Murphy after the HMCS Protecteur experienced a fire 340 nautical miles west of Hawaii. The U.S. Navy and Royal Canadian Navy worked together to ensure safety during the emergency. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Christopher Hubenthal)
