Commanding officer of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan Capt. K.J. Norton presents Scott Stapp, former singer of the band Creed, a commanding officer's coin on the bridge. Scott and his band are on a concert tour sponsored by Navy Entertainment for military members deployed overseas. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
