Barron lost his left leg and left eye while deployed with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, the Darkhorse Battalion, in October 2010. The Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment enables wounded, ill, or injured Marines to focus on their abilities and to find new avenues to thrive.
